New Sony Bravia previews

Sony is working on its second installment of the Bravia ad - and creating the virals and blogs we mentioned in earlier posts. Now the new "Behind The Scenes" videos are out, to create the viral "Word around the Ad" SOny is so much hoping for. And, it's already such an enormous succes that the Bravia ad site is down due to VERY hight traffic. But keep on trying, you'll get through sometime. Here's a pirate video of the apartment building exploding in coloured paint. Or check pictures at Flickr. Cool.

Scott Wade's Dirty Car Art Gallery

Beautiful

Scott Wade, who lives out in the country near San Marcos, may be the only artist in the universe who should have nightmares about a car wash. Scott uses his finger to draw amazingly intricate illustrations in the dirt that builds up on the rear windows of his Mini Cooper and his wife's Mazda. That's right, the man does artwork on the windows of filthy cars. Among his works are the Dogs Playing Poker and the Mona Lisa.

This is Ron Patrick's Street Legal Jet Powered Beetle. The car has two engines: the production gasoline engine in the front driving the front wheels and the jet engine in the back. The idea is that you drive around legally on the gasoline engine and when you want to have some fun, you spin up the jet and get on the burner; it adds another 1350 hp to a new car. ....the guy's a madman....

Sony Bravia Balls follow-up - sneak-peak weblog

To kick off its "behind the scenes" follow up to it Bravia Balls ad, Sony has launched a weblog, mostly written by the film crew, that will chronicle the creation of the follow up spot. The spot will be shot in Scotland and involve fireworks and thousands of gallons of paint. Based on an image of a dull, grey building posted on the blog, it would seem Sony has plans to cover the building with color as it did the streets of San Francisco. Stay Tuned.
