They've launched GroundhogCrossing.com on behalf of the Pennsylvania Tourism Office. The online campaign intended to generate some buzz around one of Pennsylvania's oldest and most revered holidays, Groundhog Day (Friday, February 2nd, 2007). The Groundhog's counterpart, the Shadow, has fled Punxsutawney, Missing his lifelong friend, the Groundhog makes a literal cross-country trek to recover the Shadow and return to Pennsylvania in time for Groundhog Day 2007. Toyota Sweden created On Toyota's Mind, a site that's supposed to creatively communicate to Swedes what Toyota's philosophy and values are without directly selling vehicles (sure...). But it does look nice. Actually the Toyota Aygo campaign was better, they they were more direct about their intention: actually getting a car inside your living room.

If I tell you that a very traditional, stylish and high fashion brand like Gucci has decided to build its new website without using Flash, the first thing you might think is: "my God, how conservative, old stylish (and boring) they are!". What I expect you to say is simply "wow!!!". Yes, "wow", because Gucci has decided to drop Flash and opt for a much more innovative solution: Web 2.0 technologies (a.o. Forsman & Bodenfors has again realised an incredible new promotional website for the Ikea's closet. Even if the content is only in Swedish, I'm sure you will enjoy the experience. Nice use of video (with a little bit of interactivity) and excellent soundtrack to explore five floors and five different environments furnished with Ikea. Check out the latest addition to the Forests Forever website: the Sarawak Rainforest right on the equator on the giant island of Borneo. This thick forest of overwhelming volume is filled with an unimaginable number of living things. The oldest rain forest in the world has continued to live to this day, untouched by the ice ages.
