It's called Hammer & Coop and it features a story which is something between David Hasselhoff in Knight Rider and Starsky & Hutch. It's all about video, with a series of webisodes starring the MINI (Coop) and an improbable hero (Hammer).

Jeep launches interactive comic book

Jeep Patriot Comics site. is defined as "the first interactive collaborative creation the comic world has ever seen". Yes it does sound very American, but it also seems to be kind of true. Jeep and Marvel drafted the first pages of the story, and now it's up to the users to submit ideas and see them converted into the real story by the pencil of Bing Cansino. The interactive comic is also supported by a tips&tricks section in blog-style, a good idea to catch-up with the project.

Budweiser launches virtual currency

How much is a Bud Buck worth? Well, as it's a virtual currency, its value can change randomly and become anything ranging from $5 to $100... The Bud Bucks are the main gimmick used in the new Budweiser online campaign. Bud drinkers are encouraged to collect the unique codes they find on beer's bottles and cans and text them or submit them through the site in order to get Bud Bucks in exchange. The accumulated Bud Bucks can then be exchanged for a series of prizes and/or to buy Budweiser merchandising in the dedicated virtual store.

Another advertising ideas which "exploits" hands. It's a a promotional website developed by Indusblue for Nokia Canada. "Push to start" features three advergames which challenge your right hand to play against your left hand. The games are extremely basic, but also quite nice and difficult to play, as they are all about coordination.

The online campaign intended to generate some buzz around one of Pennsylvania's oldest and most revered holidays, Groundhog Day (Friday, February 2nd, 2007). The Groundhog's counterpart, the Shadow, has fled Punxsutawney, Missing his lifelong friend, the Groundhog makes a literal cross-country trek to recover the Shadow and return to Pennsylvania in time for Groundhog Day 2007. The classic Cluedo board game by Hasbro is now online as an advergame.The game looks pretty good, nicely designed and quite engaging as any classic game usually is (otherwise it wouldn't have become a classic). The added value is that players get extra bonus points if they get the clues from the real world (for example related to the Cluedo box). Who did it?

Billboard advertising - in Microsoft's New Virtual Earth 3D

Microsoft has introduced a new dimension to online mapping with a web-based application that combines mapping, local search, virtual reality - and online advertising. Microsofts unveiled Local Live Search = Virtual Earth 3D, allowing users to soar above 15 U.S. cities and between buildings, as in Second Life, but the photorealistic landmarks are replicas of the real thing. Moreover, virtual billboards float above some buildings in what is a pilot test of the ad unit. Fox, Nissan Motor, Zip Realty are among the initial advertisers. (of course not in firefox...)

With two separate websites showing two interlinking films. The film (lovelybysurprise.com) is a story about two brothers who live on a houseboat, but never come out. As the story develops, it turns into a thriller. Theneverything.com focuses on the brothers, who do live a strange life, eating only cereal.
